Aqua-Vu Underwater Camera System
Here I am demonstrating the use of the Aqua-Vu camera on my boat. I have become
addicted to this camera and use it extensively in my prefishing. It is amazing
to see all the fish that are down there even though you can't always make them
bite.
My main use is two-fold, to identify structure and to figure out what colors the bass like.
What I usually do is locate structure on my Lowrance sonar. Then I lower the camera down and see what it is. It is that simple. I have found all kinds of strange things on the bottom of lakes around the country. From old anchors to boat motors. This camera will really reinforce your sonar confidence. It shows you exactly what is down there and helps you to ID things with the sonar.
When I locate fish on the sonar I experiment on what color gets a reaction. I usually do this with Berkley power grubs. I will lower different color grubs all the while watching the Aqua-Vu until I get one color that the fish react to. Then I will pretty much base all my fishing on that color. Some days they will respond to several colors, other days only one color seems to produce. In either case this camera will help you identify just exactly what it takes to catch them.
