Folding is a program that uses a mathematical model of a protein and starts it folding. If it folds wrong you end up with some disease. Things like Alzheimers, Mad Cow, Parkinsons and many cancers. The microbiology lab at Stanford University has developed a program that runs in the background on your machine at home sending them via the internet the info on how a protein folds. Meanwhile you don't even notice that its running on your machine. How simple is that. It is a breeze to install and easy to set up. Please get involved and run this program on your machine. Even if your machine only runs a couple of hours a day, every little bit helps. You could save many lives.
